DeGrande Experts from Argentina Train Injconsult Team in Plovdiv
Earlier this month, DeGrande specialists from Argentina visited Injconsult’s base in Plovdiv for a training session with the company’s agricultural team. This was their third visit to Bulgaria, focusing on the operation and servicing of corn and sunflower headers.
The program highlighted maintenance procedures, header adjustments, and consumable replacement, with demonstrations showing how DeGrande equipment can be serviced quickly and efficiently. The headers’ universal mounting frames, compatible with all major combine brands, were also presented as a key advantage.
Special focus was placed on the corn header, which features an adjustable cutting system tailored to stalk thickness, ensuring efficient harvesting and reduced losses.
Challenging 2025 Harvest Season
The training coincides with the harvest season, as Bulgarian farmers are now gathering corn and sunflower crops. While wheat production is strong at over 5.77 million tons, forecasts for corn and sunflower are significantly weaker.
According to the National Grain Producers’ Association, Bulgaria may face the lowest corn yield in a decade, with drought and heat severely impacting both crops. The European Commission has already revised its projections downward by more than 600,000 tons combined.
