The patented Stehr idea to fit these attachable compactors with hexagonal base plates also has the advantage that no extra hydraulic circuit is needed on the digger to drive any rotary motor. Three hydraulic components can thus be avoided, eliminating from the outset any chance of technical defects or leaks.
The shape of the rubber pads and the way they are fitted ensures that vibrations are not relayed to the carrying vehicle but where adjusted properly are transferred into the ground.
Test measurements have shown that soil or rubble up to a height of over one metre ca be completely compacted without any problem.
Base plates in different shapes and sizes can be fixed using just four screws, as can a ramming attachment that is also available.
