The calcium chloride is the most important chemical product, which is used at the winter time for removing of snow and ice from roads, streets, pedestrian areas, parking lots and outdoor storage areas. It is used to quickly remove relatively thin ice before or after a snowfall, to moisten the salt before spreading it on the road, processing stockpiles of sand against freezing. It does not contain harmful impurities, non-toxic and non-flammable.
